Fall Weekend at Betty's in California 's Central Valley

Roses in Guest Bedroom

On Sunday we went to Patterson to see, Wait Until Dark,
playing in the high school auditorium built in 1939.  I hadn't been to Patterson since 1959.

Set for Wait Until Dark

The audience was close to the action
Cast did an excellent job!

Back to Betty's...me to the hot tub in garden...Betty taking Micah for a walk

Guest bathroom always has pretty bouquet of flowers from Betty's garden

Sunset looking toward The Diablos from Betty's front door.

Another of Betty's delicious and healthy meals

  1. My gosh, your photos are always so beautiful - each one almost tells a story by itself. My camera doesn't work that way!

  2. Yes, I agree. The pictures of the flowers makes one feel like they are right there admiring them in person. Beautiful. Just like National Geographic pictures. Donna (Betty's sister)

  3. Hi Donna, I'm glad you can see Betty's garden. It is beautiful and she always has fresh flowers in every room. The fragrance of the roses were "to live for". It took me back to what a rose smelled like when I was a kid. Being around Betty always takes me back to the fun of being a kid.
